Perry Foundation, Incorporated

The Community Dental Center recently received a Challenge Grant from the Perry Foundation for a $34,000 matching grant, which will be used for the purchase of digital imaging for x-rays.

The Community Dental Center must raise $34,000 by 12/31/2011 to receive the grant. “Matching funds should be raised and reported to the Perry Foundation in writing by December 31, 2011, with payment to follow in 2012” (Perry Foundation, 2011).

The Community Dental Center currently services 6,764 children! Virginia Medicaid
reimbursement is ranked 47th lowest in the nation, and only covers about 80% of operating costs.
The annual short fall in our operating budget is significant and must be covered by support from
private donations.
